Date: 10/10/2009.. saturday..
It was a holiday for me and dad.. But still i started to office at 7.30 a.m. for a team outing to queensland..
As usual, my dad took the privileged pain of dropping me at office:) I reached office by 8 and found no known face. . I called up frieru and asked him where he was.. He said it will take around 15 minutes for him to start.. I was waiting at the groundfloor, looking forward for my team friends.
Finally, after some time frieru called me and asked me to come to main gate.. There was a bus waiting for us to take us to queensland.. Within sometime, the bus was half filled with associates and the journey began..
Bus was filled when associates boarded the bus at Velachery and Guindy.. We reached queensland and had a welcome drink ( grape juice )..
I was with frieru, remya, shasi, bibin, rakesh, ramesh and deepali. we were together for most of the rides. We had lunch around 1 p.m. and snacks at around 4.30 p.m.
Centrox, pirate ship, free fall, himalyan water ride, mirror house, fun house, dark house, horse ride, free fall, octopus, enterprise, battery car, swan boat are few of the rides we enjoyed.. There were few rides in which frieru got hurt.. Hope those things doesn't happen next time..
We also saw a queen who came on a visit to her land and distributed aasai chocolates ..
Finally we started off from queensland by 6.30 p.m. and reached office by 8.30 p.m.
I came back home with dad by 8.50 p.m.
The day got me some new friends like rakesh, ramya and many more..
Queensland had always been a special place for me. It was the only outing which i went with my friends in srm college..
Everytime i went for a ride, the moment which i spent with my friends prabhu, nithi, pushpa and others flashed into my mind(a virtual flashback scene)..
Inspite of my battery (energy) getting discharged often, It was a day with lots of experiences and fun..

Life Lost
10.10.09 is a day which i can never forget so easily.. Not just because of the team outing but because two friends who had been with me since birth (even before birth) lost their lives..
The two coconut trees who had been with us for more than 30 years were cut down for the simple reason that there was a risk of coconut falling on people walking on the road..
The trees were so tall and wonderful, standing in front of our house.. They were so tall that they could reach upto the third floor of any building..
They were a trademark of our home because of their gigantic height.. I could still recollect the day when i went to Lord Ganesha temple at Dheevanur with my mom to offer the first coconut..
They were my companions when i was alone at home..When there was a powercut, i would rush to the terrace with a mat and a pillow to ly down and enjoy cool breeze and the trees dancing in the wind.. Those moments would never come back again:(
Everytime when there was a storm, i would find the trees bravely fighting against the strong winds.. sometimes it would appear like trees dancing for the music of wind.. they served us with lots and lots of coconuts for our family, neighbours, relatives and friends..
The pain of their loss cannot be expressed in words. . I had a silent prayer for some miracle to happen and stop them from being cut.. But It never happened..
Now, I dont have the courage to look above.. I cannot imagine an empty space left by the trees. the space can never be filled in our home and in my heart.
They were not just trees but a member of our home.. Missing them a lot.. :'(

Same pinch day:)
It was time for lunch at office, i left my desk to have lunch with my friends.. I was wearing a white salwar that day. To my suprise i found 2 of my friends (remi, soppu) wearing the same color (white and white).. We shared same pinches and proceeded to 1st floor cafetaria for lunch. Though we couldn't avoid our gang being noticed for white and white people, the day was great:)
A similar same pinch moment, happened to occur again..
I was on a mild orange salwar that day..
My best friend at office happened to wear the same color t-shirt.. I never expected that, and it was a great suprise for me as we had never shared same pinch for a same colored costume:)
There is some happiness that arises when we find our friends wearing the same color dress like ours:)
